Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement classes resume in a couple of weeks - for a 10 week (9 weeks in Dodges Ferry) term until Easter.
It is such a delight to move more easily: as one participant said, "Many thanks for your lessons this year. My body feels so much more flexible and 'whole'. I plan to come (to class) whenever I can: I have benefited so, so much from the classes. . .".
Whatever our age and level of fitness, we can learn to move more easily, with minimum effort and maximum efficiency: not through muscle strength, but by increasing the awareness of how our system connects to create our movements.

Have a look at this video, to see how Feldenkrais lessons re-mind and re-make the neurological connections that form the basis of our everyday movements. With these lessons, fundamental movements like reaching (to close your curtains), bending (to tie your laces), rolling over, and getting up from your chair will be simpler and less effort.
